(Source: Blabbermouth.net)

SYSTEM OF A DOWN are finishing up pre-production for their next
album and will begin recording in early summer, according to Billboard.com.
The as-yet-untitled set is expected later this year through American/Columbia
Records and will be the follow-up to 2002's "Toxicity", which has sold nearly
3.3 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

"The whole world's gone crazy over the past couple of years, so that's brought out a
lot of emotions and affected our songwriting," guitarist Daron Malakian said in a
statement. "We just want to make a great rock record, a record that will be heavy,
but heavy in emotion, not just heavy in riffs."

Sevendust Drummer Says He Hates Ex-Coal Chamber Singer More Than Saddam Hussein:

SEVENDUST drummer Morgan Rose has admitted to MTV.com that the group's current single, "Enemy", is a diatribe directed toward ex-COAL CHAMBER frontman Dez Fafara, who is currently in the band DEVILDRIVER.

"Enemy" was written and largely sung by Rose, whose wife is former COAL CHAMBER bassist Rayna Foss-Rose. The song, a full-on character assassination, features such lines as, "Look at your face, look at your name/ Funny you're a loser with only yourself to blame," and "You want to be like me 'cause it's real/ So you steal on your way to fame."  Clcik here for more>http://65.54.170.250/cgi-bin/linkrd?_lang=EN&lah=a9183a5922923de41d5c054fe7cb2096&lat=1065110487&hm___action=http%3a%2f%2fwww%2eblistering%2ecom%2fnews%2fnewsdet%2ephp3%3fID%3d5481
